The backcheck tool kit includes the following six tools:
1) A hammer tail squaring jig which cuts the ideal arc, angle and length on the hammer tail for optimum checking.
2) A backcheck line marking pattern which locates the backcheck line on the key.
3) An angled drilling and insertion block which positions the key at the correct angle for drilling and insertion.
4) A backcheck height gauge which provides a means to arrive at the correct backcheck height.
5) A backcheck inserter which allows you to use your drill press as an arbor press to insert backchecks into keys.
6) A backcheck drill bit which provides a parabolic flute of the correct diameter. A bit of this design will clear the material from a deep backcheck hole when the drill press is turning above 3000 rpm.
